Gibson SG Pro (1971)
VGC, walnut finish, mahogany body and neck, bound rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, 22 frets, 2 P90 pickups with Gibson logo on black plastic covers, pots(dated 3rd week of '71) and switch mounted on semi-circular contol plate, no pickguard, big headstock, Bigsby tailpiece, typical (to this time period)tune-o-matic bridge, Gibson tuners, 1-5/8" nut, 24-3/4" scale, recent professional refret by Elderly Instruments, with OSSC, (SN:622964) This is another SG that I like. Apart from this one and the SG voodoo I have never liked the neck profile on the SG. Another bonus with this one is the P90 pickups because I love them. They give such a great sound. Unfortunately, this model was not very popular and was only made during 1971 after which they went back to the SG Special.
